Tropical Smoothie Bikes is a Cairns based business, which uses pedal power bike blenders
to create real fruit smoothies.
They moved to Cairns in April 2022 from South Queensland, business owner, Ronnie, and
partner, who both enjoyed long bike rides and rewarding themselves with a protein smoothie
after, felt like they were only riding for smoothies.
They later saw an online video where they were using blender bikes to make smoothies and
that blew their mind, so next thing they wanted one.
Ronnie explains, he did so much research and contacted so many other similar businesses
in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne who were using these smoothie bikes as hire business
to find the smoothie bikes.
While finding the bikes, they found that there are no smoothie bikes up here in Cairns and
this is a fun and engaging unique business, that this is something they could do on the side
as side hustle.

to enjoy a healthy refreshing treat, you're also getting a workout. Our smoothie bikes are
perfect for corporate events, community festivals, weddings, and more.

Moving forward they would like to continue helping local businesses and events to be
successful and memorable. Events are always planned in advance, and since the business
is just emerging, they are hoping to be on popular tropical events this year, but so far you will
be able to find them in Ecofiesta 2023 in Cairns and more to come
A commonly asked question they get is, is it 100% pedal powered? and the answer is yes,
they do not require any electricity to blend their smoothies.
Ronnie’s personal favourite smoothie is Mango Magic, he make this yogurt based it taste
just like “Mango Lassi” (This is one of the most popular Indian Lassi)
Their most loved smoothie is a Watermelon Blast, it is watermelon, mint, and ice crushed,
and is the most refreshing smoothie, it is best in summer with low calories. You can find a list
