Aioli everyone. We hope you have all been well. For a while now, we have been sharing on our blog, ways that everyone can share their personal narratives to create more genuine connections with their audience, so this week we thought we would take our own advice and give it a try.
To start, we thought we share with you crafting our narrative for 2025, sharing our plans going into this year, our experiences of going back into study and our plans for pursuing our aspirations this year. In sharing our narrative, we hope you will take away from it, ways to craft your narrative for 2025 by sharing with us all your motivations, plans and aspirations for the new year.
Crafting Your 2025 Narrative, Being Open and Vulnerable
It is hard to be open and vulnerable about your experiences when you are sharing them with a group of people you have never met before. But whether the experience is good, bad or even ugly, being open and vulnerable about the experience can help you build a deep connection with your audience and can foster a relationship that can be wholesome and rewarding.
In 2025, our plans for the year are to strengthen our resolve, build resilience and be more open and vulnerable on the blog. This year we hope by working on these goals, we can better manage our anxiety, create and foster strong relationships with our audience and expand the reach of this site. We plan to be more open and vulnerable about our experiences and travels in the hopes if any of you are faced with similar situations you can relate.
Heading Back to the Books
Just like the proverb says, 'it's never too late to learn', and in 2025, we are going back to school and going back to the books even though we did graduate with a degree last April. We are attending one of our former university schools and will study for a dual degree in Business and Law.
While we are proud of our communications degree, we want to build on that foundation by using these degrees to not only sharpen the way we communicate but by the way we think and process. While the plan wasn't always to become a lawyer, we hope in the future it will better our employability prospects and lead us into a rewarding and satisfying career.
In all honesty, we were a bit hesitant about sharing that we are going back to school because there would be a lot of talk about why we aren't using our initial degree but, for us the fact that we got accepted into this dual degree and the opportunities it could open doors to is incredible.
Don't think just because you graduated with one degree that you can't go on to complete further study and build on your skills because, at the heart of it all, we are always still learning, and careers and aspirations can change. As they say, it is highly unlikely, that you will stay in the same career track your whole life, so if you want to change, who is anyone to stop you, the world is your oyster, and you can take on any position or career track, that you so wish.

Pursuing Aspirations
Outside of work and study pursuing an aspiration can be a good escape to clear one's mind and reignite one's passions, heck it can even become a side hustle if you wish. Pursuing an aspiration can be like doing a mindfulness activity or doing something that you enjoy just to have some fun.
In 2025, we plan to pursue some aspirations as a means of a break from our work and study commitments. We are thinking about taking up photography again and spending more effort on building this blog and the site. We felt by doing this we could use some of our photography on the site and for promotional materials.
Each year we always say we would love to read more but as fellow law students will tell you, you read a lot in studying law, in preparing for classes and tutorials, and that reading becomes kind of burdensome, that reading more, say a novel doesn't exactly fit your idea of relaxing after all of that, but since we are reading a couple of novel series atm, which we started well before enrolling into studies we are going to try to fit in some novel reading where can to complete those books.
Staying Accountable
For all of us to achieve our dreams and goals in 2025, we have to put measures in place to hold ourselves accountable for our actions, so we don't fall behind. Holding ourselves accountable looks at making sure we are achieving all the milestones we need to reach along the way as well as keeping ourselves motivated and inspired so we keep going. The truth is if we don't hold ourselves accountable for our actions, we pose the threat of underperforming and not achieving our goals in the end.
Staying accountable can take the look of so many different measures. This can be a self-check-in, where you check off your milestones on a calendar, letting family or friends know about your goals and regularly checking in with them about it, or in a class setting, as we have with our degree study, studying in a group with weekly sessions holding each other accountable for each week's worth of work.
The main ways we plan to stay accountable this year, are by using a paper diary to mark our milestones on a calendar, self-check-ins and as we have shared for our studies keeping in touch with our class to make sure we are keeping up with each week's load of reading and studies,
We hope this year, if you use some of these accountable measures you will achieve your dreams and goals.
Going Forward
In moving forward in 2025, while we didn't set any enforceable New Year's resolutions that we wanted to achieve, the mentions in this blog will be our motivations and plans. By the end of the year, we hope to have completed our first year in our new degree and created some strong connections, not just here on the site but in our chosen career field as well. We want to be able to surround ourselves with good mentors and lots of like-minded people.
It is our hope in 2025 that you as the reader also achieve your dreams, motivations and plans. We would for you all to drop a comment on how you plan to achieve in 2025. Going forward into the new year, we wish you all the very best, and know that you can always come here for a quick, good read when you need it, cheers!
