Halloumi, howdy Walkerz,
How are you? Thanks for stopping by and visiting,
In the last blog piece I tried out some free writing and I received a good response, so here we are to try it again,
If your not familiar with free writing, it is a writing exercise where you allow yourself and allocated amount of the time and you just write/type away, there is no judgment on the structure or the flow, you just going to keep typing/writing till times up, it is a great way to get your thoughts out in the open and helps you to organise them,
But compared to my last blog piece, this time I thought I would add a more strict time limit of 30 minutes, so this is 30 minutes of Wilz essentially rambling your eyes and ears off lol, we are back with Wilz unedited, as I like to say to people even in person, what you see is what you get, there is no hidden secrets or elements here, I can't lie to save my life even if I tried so feel free to take it or leave it, the choice is yours,
I am curious to know, have any of you tried free writing before Walkerz? What did you think of the exercise and did you find it helpful at all?
From experimenting with it in my last blog piece, I am finding it super helpful, I was never a good one with structuring pieces so it is nice to just let loose and just to type away, after that I can then go back and organise my thoughts and feelings, I can do up headings afterwards and organise my ramblings accordingly, it is like a good brainstorm, you can draw if that helps you to organise but in most instances I like to just put down quick few sentences and/or key words, and that is usually enough to inspire me with more thoughts and to keep the ball rolling,
To keep the ball rolling on my studies, I did a quick brainstorm and that is how I picked out the course I am studying the course I am doing at the moment, I think I have share this story before on the blog but let me share it again for all of those who haven't read my blog before, essentially I took out a notebook wrote down all the things I enjoy doing/my passions and tried to pick a course that would take in as many of them as possible, hey presto enter from stage right the communications degree,
From the beginning, I wasn't a very strong communicator when I started the course, but along the way it has really opened me up, I am not so afraid now to speak up and if they have taught me anything, it is that it is okay if you come across a bit blunt in getting your message across, using simple, plain but blunt language rather than fairy floss as my family would call it is better so people understand your message and what your trying to say, rather than trying to be overly polite and missing the message completely,
How do you best like to communicate Walkerz? Do you find it easy to post on social media or you a person that craves human to human contact, like face to face conversation, what is your preference, let's all share and discuss,
And that is Wilz's 30 mins up, but to answer my own question, to begin with I was a poster but now I rather more enjoy human to human interaction, I love being able to read people's body language, it gives me more of a instant feel of how they are reacting to what I am saying,
That is Wilz for now, travel safely Walkerz, take care and let's keep walking on this journey called life, peace out
