Aioli everyone, unsure how to structure or write a blog post, here are 5 tips that you can use to help you write your catchy blog post.

But you might be asking, Wilz haven't you blogged for a couple of years now, yes that is true, but even we struggle in writing a blog that we feel is catchy and structured in a way that a blog post should be, a lot of the time we feel like our posts are more like journal entries than actual blog posts, but to try and fix this problem, we thought why not try a WIX blog template, while they don't have a great range to choose from, we thought the structure and style would help us format our blog entries better,
Tip #1 - Templates are just guides
If you are new to blogging or if you have been blogging like us for years, please keep this tip in mind while writing your blog post, while templates are here to help, you can style and structure your posts, in any way that you like, you don't always have to stick to the way the template is set out, as we are going through this blog template now, WIX has been super helpful, providing loads of tips and tricks along the way to make the most of our blog posts, but at the end of the day, as the name suggests, they are just guides, just a template for what could be, while they are a great base to have, but you can change them to suit the needs of your posts and/or site
Tip #2 - Keep it simple
You have probably heard this advice a million times over, but it does ring true, if you keep your blog posts simple and easy to read, your audience will have a much better chance of being able to grasp the meaning and concept of your blog and there will be no confusion about the message you are trying to get across.
We are sure you have all been there when you are reading a piece of writing whether it be online or in person, that you just can't decipher because it either doesn't make sense, is so long and bulky, or uses so many ambiguous words that you just give up reading that you completely miss the point the writer is trying to make in turn wasting your time, it is just not a fun experience for anybody.
But another point that fits into this tip that follows on from keeping it simple, and we learnt this from our communications degree, is making it so simple that your readers don't have to think, how many times have you been turned off by a site or a blog because it was hard to navigate, and you had to work to get to where you wanted to get on the site, again not a pleasant experience for your audience, you want to make your site as easy and simple as possible.
Tip #3 - Make it personable
While using templates is great for structuring your blog, in terms of styling, you should add your own pieces to make it your own.
Adding photos or using your own stylized language in blogs, for example, how we usually greet you all with aioli instead of hello, will not only captivate the attention of your reader's eyes but also stick in the mind of your readers that they are reading your blog and are on your site rather than someone else's content.
Tip #4 - Mix it up
Try different blog formats each time. One month, post a day in the life, then try a How-To or a Q&A. There are many templates to help you get started.
Thanks to the template, we kept how tip 4 was written, as we agree with what it says, switching up your content will keep your audience captivated and will leave them wanting more, plus trying different types of templates will definitely lead you into our last tip,
Tip #5 - Creating your templates.
While WIX has a great range of templates on offer for you to choose from nothing is stopping you from creating your stunning templates to suit the needs of your site and/or blog.
You can create your templates using existing templates as a guide and you can change/modify them to suit your needs, so when you want to do a particular type of post, you can just pull up your beautifully created template and a way you can go.
You can also share your custom templates online for others to use, and if you want to monetize the whole experience, you can charge for download, it is entirely up to you.
Using a template can be fun
If you haven't tried using a blog template before, this is your call to give one a try, whether it be here on WIX if you have a WIX site or on another platform they can help breathe a breath of fresh air into your content and help you diversify your posts, if you do try one after reading this post, you should totally leave us a comment letting us know how you went,
