Reviewz - 'for one more day' Wilz picks up the book again
"Before we took a break, we were reading the book 'for one more day' by Mitch Albom, it would be a waste not to pick it up again and to not finish the story"
How have you all been?
So far we have read the first quarter of the book and it would be a waste not to finish the book, so far the story has been really reflective, as the reader it has made us look at our life choices and how they have shaped our lives,
Quoted from reading the back blurb of the book, "If you had the chance, just one chance, to go back and fix what you did wrong in life, would you take it? And if you did, would you be big enough to stand it?"
If given the chance would you go back and change something Walkerz? And if you did would you be able to handle the repercussions that change would have on your lives?
For myself, as painful as some experiences have been, I wouldn't change a thing, for thinking back now they have all shaped me into the person I am today, I wouldn't have said this a decade ago or even a few years ago but I have learned without the pain and suffering, I couldn't appreciate more of the good moments as they come now, even the sad events in my life like my Father's and the Feathered Assistant's passing have taught me to appreciate the small things in life and when I have the chance to smell the roses and to take that photo because, in the end, all those small moments add up to make the bigger picture, what do you think Walkerz?
Do you have any moments or instances in your life that you would like to change or would you be like me and leave it as it? I am keen to hear your responses, let's share and discuss,
But back to the book, I think like before, we shall take it bit by bit, it would feel like such a shame not to finish off the book and to see how the story ends, plus when we left it before our main character was in pain and it doesn't feel right to leave him like that, I don't know how the book will end but hopefully, it will be on a good note for our main character,
That is Wilz for now, take care Walkerz, and travel safely, let's keep walking on this journey called life, peace out
