Personal Blogz- Wilz and the time out

Halloumi, howdy Walkerz,

How are you? Thanks for stopping by and visiting,

It has been a while hasn't it, my apologies, to be honest, Wilz hasn't been well and took some time out to rest and reflect,

I know I have missed a lot of postings according to the post schedule I created but I really needed to take some time out for myself and to get better, and to get myself together, I shall explain more as this post goes along,

Probably one of the biggest things for me at the moment is this that I am about to share with you all, I know I share this post with you all a while back https://www.walkwithwilz.com.au/post/personal-blogz-wilz-and-and-the-anxious-roller-coaster, please click on the link to check out the post,

But at the time of writing that post I was in a good headspace and felt like I didn't need the help, but updates now I am admitting I do need help so I am back on some medication, initially, I was very ashamed about it all, I guess I was scared of admitting it but with some time passed I am feeling no longer afraid, it is not something to be ashamed of, some people do need the extra help, and as my psychologist said to me what is it like a badge of honour that some people don't require any assistance, no, it is okay, I am glad you realised you weren't coping and reached out for help,

And I guess that is what I want to share with you all a lot at the moment Walkerz, that it is okay if you feel like your not coping to ask for help and if need be to take some medication to help you, you should never feel ashamed for taking care of your self, physical and your mental well being, it is okay to say I am not okay, to reach out and to speak out to family and friends, to reach out to your doctor or a psychologist and to get some help, it is completely okay, we are all out here to love and support you whatever you may be going through, we are here for you

What is not okay though is suffering in silence, the only person you are hurting doing that is yourself, we all deserve to be happy and healthy so please reach out, speak out, while speaking from experience it won't feel like an immediate fix, but it is comforting to know you have a lot of people around you who will know what you are feeling and experiencing and this helps a lot, please don't be shy when it comes to your health especially your mental health, it really helps to speak out, be honest, please share what you are feeling, we all just want to help,

In addition to reaching and speaking out, there is a lot of good resources and organisations out there that can help too, please have a look at the RUOK organisation https://www.ruok.org.au/ , at the Black Dog Institute https://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/ , Beyond Blue https://www.beyondblue.org.au/ , Headspace https://headspace.org.au/ , and at Believe by famous Home and Away actress Sam Frost https://www.believebysamfrost.com/ , these organisations have a lot of useful information and resources that can help,

And a friendly reminder October is Mental Health Month, I urge you if you are in a position of being able to help please donate and please be sure to help out one of these organisations, it might not be you now at the moment that requires help but you never know down the track, you or a loved could need help, these organisations help to support some of the most vulnerable in our community, the least we can do is show them a lot of love and support,

But out of the shell, I mean outside of my head physically, I have been taking up a lot of old habits to distract myself, I have been getting a lot into crocheting again, wow that makes me sound so old, but I think that is a negative connotation that comes with the craft, but I have been working on putting together a blanket for my computer chair, but other than that I have also been trying to get more active online again, please check out my other pages here on my blog site and please connect with me, I really appreciate feedback, lets all share and connect,

That is Wilz for now, travel safely Walkerz, take care and let's keep walking on this journey called life, peace out
