How are you? Thanks for stopping by and visiting,


Welcome to part 2 of the new series Wellness and Me, Wilz documents her journey back to wellness and you too can join in along the way,

My psychologist recommended to me that getting active is a good thing not just for fitness but for mental health too, getting the heart pumping and sweat on can help release more of the good happy chemicals in your system, I guess you can say it can work like a cheer up activity, just take it slow and steady though if you have been out of the game like I have, build up the intensity and activity slowly, don't go out all guns blazing or you could risk damage to yourself, just take it easy okay,


But at the same time taking some time to slow down and to meditate in addition works well too, clearing the mind and releasing those bad thoughts out of your system can really help you cleanse and relax, you can also try some guided meditations but I find they don't really work too well for me but each to their own, I find with guided meditations I can't focus well and get in that zen peaceful feeling, but you can only try and see if it works for you, I always like to try the leaves on the stream exercise I shared in part 1, imaging the sound and feel of the water really helps to soothe and relax me, and letting the bad thoughts flow from my system like that is so easing,


What type of things or exercises do you like to do to find Wellness in your days Walkerz? Let's share with each other by offering some suggestions, we can each try some things suggested by other people and see if they work for us, let's create a friendly discussion,


I know for myself I would like to build up the heart rate and intensity and to lose a bit more weight, I have been taking it easy by starting with some walking which has been a great way to start getting myself more active and mobile again, and my doctor is happy with this but I need to watch my diet too and eat more healthy, I know weight loss might not be on everyone's goal list but not carrying some extra kilos is good for the heart, the body and the mind,


What are some of your Wellness goals Walkerz?


My Wellness goals are mainly to be just happy and healthy in my own skin, I would love to be a bit more fit and to build up some stamina, I have really let myself go and it shows, but I am taking the advice of my good friend Chelsea from @FrenchyByChelseaElizabeth, if you make no change, nothing is going to happen, so let's all mark this as Wilz making a change and making a change for the good,
